It felt good to get outside after a half day of work and put in 70 miles. I had a nice conversation with my dad who turned 84 today. Rest points along the ride included a stop at the local Apple store to pick up a power cord and visit with my friend George. Look closely at his arms. Those tatoos represent each of his kids and their birthdays. That brings new meaning to wearing fatherhood on your sleeves.
I also visited with Maureen Roberts, my long-time friend, fellow Barrington resident, and Dads Honor Ride webmaster. Together we ordered and approved the customized Voler riding jerseys for each of the riders.
