SFN ZOOM Conference

On March 16, 2020, over a hundred special fathers gathered for our annual Special Fathers Network conference. This year it was a Zoom conference.
The Purpose Of The Conference Was Help Dads To:
- Learn – about the Special Fathers Network
- Meet – other dads raising children with special needs
- Gather Resources – to help your child
- Develop Skills – to be a better dad and husband
- Network – with other dads on a similar journey
Here is an edited version of that conference with many different fathers offering their unique and inspiring perspective about having children with special needs.
HERE IS A BRIEF RECAP:
- 185 registered from 30 states and six countries
- 141 indicated they are married
- Fathers to 440 children including 193 with special needs
- Of the Challenges Faced:
- 53 indicated ‘balance between family & work’
- 35 indicated ‘the health of my child’
- 14 reported ‘Independent Education Plans (IEPs)’
